Katherine & Dimitry, a couple living in New Zealand had visions to elope in sunny Phuket, Thailand with their closest family and friends along with them to celebrate, and Ilaire of Wedding Boutique Phuket delivered another spectacular day yet again. 42 guests flew from all parts of the world to cheer on and lift these two up, and it was an incredibly amazing and heartwarming day to witness.

The wedding took place at Renaissance Resort and Spa, a luxurious villa located on Mai Khao Beach. The morning began relaxed and calm, as Katherine along with her mother and best friend got ready in their brightly lit villa surrounded by greenery, and the men started the day with a dip in the pool.

When the ceremony was nearing, guests arrived and got their passport wedding invitation’s stamped at the entrance by the flower girls; an adorable touch to a destination wedding, in my opinion! Dimitry’s face as his beautiful bride walked down the aisle toward him was filled with excitement. The vows they shared had most in the audience shedding tears. The love they have for one another was so eloquently explained in those little books, and shown by the looks they gave each other as they read their promises to each other.

The evening celebration was just as special. Many of their friends and family stood to give words of wisdom, encouragement, and love for K & T. It was clear that these two had a life filled with nothing but support and care from those closest to them.

Once the speeches were finished, a buffet of Thai food was served, and then the dancing followed. It was a night I’ll surely never forget!
