I see from my brides just how stressful it can be to find the perfect venue for your big day. You want something that fits both your personalities, interests, and style you’re looking for, but that is also local and an easy commute for your guests. Throughout the past few years I have found a few of my personal favorites from the many weddings I’ve shot here in the Fox Cities that I’d love to share with you! If you haven’t looked into these venues before and are in the midst of wedding planning, I recommend taking a few minutes to view my top favorite Appleton, Oshkosh, Neenah, and Green Bay wedding venues. You might just find your dream location!

The Paine Art Center – Oshkosh, WI

The Paine Art Center offers outdoor ceremonies in a quaint garden, the backdrop of a European style historic mansion, a newly renovated carriage house and an exquisite estate for your wedding reception.  It’s the ideal backdrop for anyone looking for a sophisticated, elegant and classic style to their wedding day. If you want to feel like you’re in Italy and not Wisconsin, with the convenience of not having to leave town– look no further than the Paine Art Center.

The Howard – Oshkosh, WI

The Howard is an iconic landmark that was just restored by two sisters Carey & Jenna, and it’s a venue you don’t want to miss seeing! It not only serves as a wedding venue, but also a concert hall, coffee shop, and even a bowling alley. Its interiors include a ballroom that spans 2 floors, 25 ft vaulted ceilings, hand carved crown molding accents, and crystal chandeliers.

The Waters – Oshkosh, WI

The Waters is an elegant Oshkosh wedding venue that was built in 1903. If you love being on the water, this is the place to be, as it’s perfectly located on the edge of Lake Winnebago with sailboats lining the shore. I’ve seen sunny ceremonies take place on the back lawn that overlooks the lake and reception celebrations that occur in the The Waters Grand Ballroom on the second level among the amazing giant crystal chandeliers.
The Waters Grand Ballroom can provide seating for up to 172 for a plated dinner.

Brighton Acres – Oshkosh, WI

Rustic, vintage, and charming all describe this perfect barn venue.  Brighton Acres is conveniently located near the heart of Oshkosh, yet delightfully placed in a rural, quiet and picturesque countryside. I’ve shot many weddings at Brighton Acres over the years, and it never disappoints. It even makes the perfect venue for winter weddings, which take place in their newly renovated shed. The Shed is a blank canvas banquet hall that contains indoor restrooms, air-conditioned full-service bar, and a private bridal suite.
Brighton Acres can provide seating for up to 400 guests in a single space.

Green Bay Botanical Gardens – Green Bay, WI

Around each corner of this the Green Bay Botanical Gardens is a beautiful backdrop.  The Botanical Gardens venue makes my job easy to find the perfect spot to photograph you and your wedding party.  There are numerous garden locations for an outdoor ceremony, as well as the Cornerstone Foundation banquet hall for a party inside.  The gorgeous blooming colors in the summer are equally as breathtaking as the fall foliage.  This would make the perfect venue to fit any style of wedding.

 

Gather on Broadway – Green Bay, WI

The Gather on Broadway is a simple blank canvas for all your wedding dreams! It is a 5,500 square foot open space that has exposed brick walls and wooden ceilings. They offer multiple floor plans so you can truly customize your wedding to exactly how you wish it to be.
Gather on Broadway can provide seating for up to 250 people.

 

Hotel Northland – Green Bay, WI 

Hotel Northland’s Grand Ballroom contains chandeliers and elegant arched windows. Northland has the convenience of accommodation for your out of down guests, and is located right in downtown Green Bay for a variety of exciting things to do!
Hotel Northland’s Ballroom can provide seating for up to 288 people.

 

Oneida Country Club – Green Bay, WI 

In order to book your wedding at Oneida Country Club, you must be a member. If you are a member and want an extravagant space to host your wedding, this is the place! The floor to ceiling windows and neutral colored reception area leave you with a blank canvas to perfectly decorate your day to your unique taste.

Gordon Bubolz Nature Preserve – Appleton, WI

Ohhh Bubolz ❤️  This place has my heart. I’ve been photographing here for years, but only recently they built a gorgeous lodge to host your special day. With over 700 acres of land, there’s no shortage of gorgeous spots to take photos.
The Great Blue Heron Hall can provide seating for up to 250 people. The Black Bear Den Auditorium can provide seating for up to 160 people.

 

Titletown Brewery – Green Bay, WI

Love craft beer? Titletown Brewery is the place for you and your love! This building was renovated and converted into a restaurant and microbrewery in 1996, and is located right on the Fox River. The rooftop bar offers gorgeous views all around of downtown Green Bay.
Titletown Brewery’s Beer Works Building can provide seating for up to 200 seated guests or 250 cocktail.

 

Ballroom at The Reserve – Neenah, WI

Located in the heart of Neenah lies the Ballroom at The Reserve, a luxury space for celebrating! It was recently refinished with a modern elegance look, yet still holds its original character and charm.

Poplar Creek Barn – Oshkosh, WI

Poplar Creek is a rustic barn venue with an open-floor concept.

Givens Farm – Hortonville, WI

Givens Farm is a charming stone farmhouse that’s truly unique to this area. The surrounding land gives you endless and picturesque options for all your portrait needs!

 

Stone Arch at Riverview Gardens – Appleton, WI

The Stone Arch at Riverview Gardens is a unique event space located on a bluff-top only a few minutes from downtown Appleton. Its main ballroom has gorgeous wood accents and wrap-around windows with a perfect view of the Fox River down below. The fenced in bluff makes an amazing location for outdoor ceremonies, and even lawn games for after dinner.
The Stone Arch Ballroom can provide seating for up to 200 guests.

 

Mulberry Lane Farm – Appleton, WI

Want a relaxed country setting for your wedding day? Look no further than Mulberry Lane Farm. The barn itself holds all the rustic charm you could ever ask for with its twinkling white lights strung from the barns high beams. Not only are the facilities themselves beautiful, but their ceremony location on the back end of their property that overlooks endless rolling green hills is one of my favorites. One look at this countryside venue and you’ll see exactly why!
Mulberry Lane Farm’s barn and outdoor ceremony location both provide seating for up to 200 guests.

 

Woodfire Lodge at Triple J Wing & Clay – Brillion, WI

The Woodfire Lodge is one of my favorite locations! I am in love with the woodsy, log cabin feel– and this venue is exactly that. The rustic cabin is nestled in 500 acres of woodland, making for the perfect ‘Northwoods’ inspired wedding day. Cuddle close with your loved one next to one of its many river stone fireplaces, or spend some time out in the sun on their beautiful patio.
