Before I left for Thailand, I had been wanting to so badly to capture a couple in winter scenery. My purpose was to show the beauty of Wisconsin winters, despite the cold, and sometimes dreary few months it can be. My assistant, Roberto, reached out to a wonderful (and freakin’ adorable!) couple who were absolute troopers in the 10 degree weather mother nature gave us that day. Maria & Ricky climbed the frozen waterfall, danced in the snow, and held each other tight to try to keep warm. It also happened to be nearing their 2nd anniversary as husband and wife, so it was extra fun to document this for them!

I think the outcome is absolutely beautiful, and I hope there are couples in the future who are willing to brave the winters for some spectacular shots <3
