I hope all of you had a great Labor Day weekend.  I was fortunate enough to go on a few amazing trips this year, my most recent trip was with my family to Arizona and Utah.  We flew into Phoenix, Arizona and immediately drove north to Zion National Park in Utah which was about a 7 hour drive.  Along the way we stopped to stretch our legs at the Navajo Bridge.  Love the view from this bridge!

In Zion we took a lot of hikes, including the Canyon Overlook Trail, Angels Landing, and The Narrows.  I recommend everyone to go to Zion.  The opportunities for adventure are limitless and every corner has another amazing view.  The Narrows is one of my favorite hikes.  You walk through the middle of a canyon and are hiking in water most of the time.  You can only do this hike during certain times of the year because of flooding and high water levels.  We were lucky to have a perfect day for it.  It was also my first time hiking Angels Landing.  It is definitely one of the scariest hikes I’ve ever done.  Metal chains bolted into the rocks are the only thing you have to hang onto as you scramble up the narrow ledge to the top.

Mid-week we packed up and headed south stopping in Sedona, Arizona.  We did some wine tasting at Page Springs Cellars and spent the rest of the week relaxing and enjoying some good food and sightseeing!  Unfortunately summer is coming to an end, but I hope everyone was able to create some great memories together with family this year.
